Chad Johnson ponders Eagles - and Cowboys Posted by D.A. Louis June 5, 2008

The Philadelphia Inquirer Reports: The good news for Eagles fans is that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson is at least thinking about wearing green.
The bad news is he's also thinking about life with a star on the side of his helmet.
"If I can get out of Cincinnati, the sky's the limit," Johnson told ESPN the Magazine. "What could I do in a place like Philadelphia or Dallas? It would be ridiculous. It's gonna be like a whole new me, like Ocho Cinco 2.0."
Johnson, who for some reason is serving as a guest editor for the magazine, said in the same story that he plans to play for the Bengals this season.
"Am I coming back?" he asked rhetorically. "Of course I am. I told my coaches I'm going to California to act, but the truth is I may come back to the Bengals as early as June. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid."

Seattlepi.com Reports: Running back Shaun Alexander is scheduled to visit the Cincinnait Bengals on Monday, the team's website is reporting.
Alexander, who was released by the Seahawks last week, grew up across the river from Cincinnati.
Here's the reports from the Bengals website:
The agent for Shaun Alexander said Thursday that his client is scheduled to visit the Bengals on Monday, but Jim Steiner stressed the visit is "very preliminary."
"Shaun wants to get an idea how the Bengals would use him and I'm sure the Bengals would like to talk to him," Steiner said. "But there is interest on both sides."

Agent Says Alexander To Call Bengals Posted by Jay Miles May 1, 2008

The Cincinnati Enqurier Reports: Running back Shaun Alexander, cut loose by Seattle less than two weeks ago, will be contacting his favorite boyhood team, the Bengals.
"Making calls to teams. Bengals are on our list!" Jim Steiner, Alexander's agent, told The Enquirer in an e-mail Wednesday.
The Bengals did not use any of their 10 picks in last weekend's NFL Draft on a running back.
*The Bengals are deep at running back, so if they do sign Alexander the risk would not be that bad. If he can regain his MVP form, then it would be a good pickup for Cincy and it could come at a bargain price.
